J-Live Entertainment partners with Street Genius Records


J-Live Entertainment, the local homegrown entertainment company from Hanford, CA has provided over 600 talented
contestants from all over Central Valley California an opportunity to perform on stage and showcase their talent for a
total of seven consecutive years producing the “Next Big Thing Talent Show”.

The company also promotes major concerts, producers of corporate events, and is now stepping in to the world of
entertainment management.

However, J-Live Entertainment is doing it the right way.

They are partnering with Street Genius Records and are building an entertainment machine that will create opportunity
for local performers to learn from the very best in the entertainment business today.

Street Genius Records, established in 2006 out of Beverly Hills, CA by Record Company Executive Eli McCoy whom as
a Senior Vice President for Blackground and Interscope Records was instrumental in the launch of music career’s such
as Pop singer JoJo, Grammy nominated R&B singer/producer Tank, Grammy award winning recording artist and
producer Timbaland, Internationally known Pop star Lady GaGa, and his son, platinum selling artist J. McCoy.
“Our talent show has produced a large number of great local stars, however we have noticed too many that have no
direction as to how or what they need to do in order to succeed in the entertainment business,” said Joey Perez,
Founder of J-Live Entertainment.

“Now for the first time ever we are opening our doors to serious local performers, giving them a real shot, and the
right direction that is needed to make it in the business”.

J-Live Entertainment will launch the partnership with Street Genius Records at the upcoming Big Fresno Fair talent
competition, which begins October 7. Winning contestants will receive a short-term contract with J-Live Entertainment
/ Street Genius Records.

In addition the traditional $1,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to winners and one lucky Hip-Hop/R&B artist will be
chosen to open for rap superstar “The Game” before he hits the stage on October 10 at the Big Fresno Fair’s Paul Paul
Theater.

“J-Live has been an advocate for local talent for several years now, the professionalism and integrity of these talent
competitions are inspiring not only for the participants, but for the local community, family members and local
businesses”, said McCoy Founder of Street Genius Records.

Local talent is encouraged to attend the Next Big Thing Talent Show Live! at the Big Fresno Fair presented on October
7, 8, 12, & 14 at the fair’s Pavilion Stage.

Auditions for the show have ended but both J-Live and Street Genius representatives have confirmed that more
information will be announced on the partnership and how local talent can get involved at the live shows.
